We all get into ruts when it comes to our marketing. We all write the same old tired ads telling people about this wonderful new opportunity and how it’s going to turn your prospect’s life into a wonderland. In the meantime, they’re all falling asleep at the other end. Did you ever wonder why? Did you ever think that maybe thinking outside the box will bring you more results? Well, this article is going to give you three excellent ways to think outside of that box and bring in more sales. After reading this, your mind should be filled with great ideas.
The first way to think outside the box and bring in more sales is with humor. That’s right. Instead of doing your usual tired and boring advertisement, why not try a little humor in your ad? How about this? How about you send an email to your list telling them that you need some insane amount of money and you need it fast, like in 20 minutes. Tell them this absolutely wild story that is obviously pure fiction. Make it outrageous enough so that it’s obviously humor. People will enjoy it and at the end, when you make your real pitch, you may just get a few sales out of it. People love to be made to laugh. Try it sometime.
Another way to think outside the box is to try reverse psychology. In other words, instead of sending them an ad, send them a non ad. Don’t do any pitch or promotion in the ad. Talk about things related to your niche. Get into a philosophical discussion. Make your readers think, but get their minds totally off of the fact that you’re still ultimately trying to make a sale. Then, at the end of the message, simply put a link to your site in your signature. You’ll be surprised how many people just might check it out.
A third way to think outside the box is to write to your list and tell them that you found a serious problem with your product that needs to be fixed. Tell them that if they buy now, you will discount it at some insane price because of the flaws and then after the new version comes out, they will get the upgrade at no cost to them. Think they won’t jump at this, especially if the price is right?
These are just a few of the many things you can do to think outside the box and make more sales.
